Everybody have their own way of fighting stress, for me I buy
and recently I didn’t realized that I am quite stress until I counted the
amount of stuffs that I bought, yes online. Especially Groupon and gmarket. Does
that make me a shopaholic? I don’t care actually as it makes mi feel better, at
least temporarily.
yes, another way i undertook to relieve stress is to stuff food in my mouth. anyth will do. But sometimes u cant find food at home but ur handphone and computer will be always there.
So I was addicted to gmarket like 2 years ago? And I buy all
sorts of nonsense from there. Food, clothes, skin care and other useless
stuffs, I bought so much that I am their VIP member already lol. Reason being I
ike gmarket other than its affordable prices, it’s the convenience, I don’t have
to get out of the house (sth I do onli about twice a week now) and I can get
anyth that I need and I want. And the most important thing is, I pay by card
and hence will not see my savings depleting! Wahahaha okay, there’s nth to be
proud of. It’s my own savings.
Anyway my newest buy from Gmarket is this Japan thermal
steam eye mask! It’s believed to be able to reduce dark under eye circle and eye bags by improving blood circulation around the eye area by heat. Also, it is able to relieve stress around eye area by comforting and soothes your fatigue eyes. So convincing right??! this suits everyone, i mean even a lazy bum who stays at home everyday and just use the comp oso cant suffer from fatigue eyes right? lol thats why i bought this to try!
so i bought 7 to try, one for $1.38. Guess its quite reasonable cause its a japanese product. And the packaging looks atas and simple to use!
Honestly i bought it for the sole purpose of my protruding eye bags and my panda eyes which both decided to attack me at the same time!
Though i dont understand japanese, i guess the pictures at both front and back of this package is quite clear at understanding how to use this product. Its quite cute that they show u that u can use the mask everywhere, like in office, before u sleep or even in the train. okay i probably wont use on the train in singapore later ppl stomp me.
Yup so here its wats in the packet, the eye mask with the poker dots are just too cute, i mean though i wont be able to see them with the mask on but looking at it just makes me happy. So i tried the night i received the product.
My review :
The moment I took the mask out from the packaging, I can
feel it heating up gradually, not very hot (said to be around 40 degrees) and I
put it on my eyes for about 15 to 20 min, that’s the amt of time the heat can
last. My immediate reaction was ‘omg this is so comfortable and relaxing’ and I
got very excited and couldn’t wait to tell my friends and family but with the
mask on my eyes I can’t see anything and
getting so hyped up totally defeats the purpose of putting a soothing eye mask so
no choice I have to wait. The feeling is just like putting heat packs on your
eyes but sometimes heat bags can be very scumbagly hot and hurt your eyes, but for this the amt of heat that it applies is
just nice. Also, it is scented (I bought the mint one) so it was quite
refreshing at the same time. Another reason I love this product is because it
distracts me from other things. Normally when I have the face masks on, I will
still do my work or use my phone but with the eye masks I couldn’t do anything else
but just to dedicate this 15 to 20 min of my time purely to myself ,not even
listening to music. I mean in this era now with so many distractions and reasons
to multi-task, when was the last time we squeeze out sometime jus to relax and have
the whole brain to ourselves? In the short period, I felt really relaxed for a moment,
letting the heat to soothe my eyes and thinking about nth but just keep my
breath steady. This is best after a draining day of studying or work. but as
for the other effects of reducing and eye bags and under eye circles, I didn’t really
see immediate effects yet, maybe I was too overwhelmed by how good the product
is to help mi to distress. Yup, I will definitely let my family and friends try
this eye masks! So yup good buy from gmarket!
so here is a pic of me with my bunny(no link), once again he looked traumatized but no worries he is just comfortably lying in my arms falling asleep.
Erm so here is one of my many buys from gmarket! I guess
retail therapy works quite well for me? But guess that’s not a long term
solution as I foresee more stress looming ahead. Oh well, guess for now I just
have to get to do with such small satisfaction and slowly discover new ways to
relieve stress. Will blog about other stuffs I have bought on gmarket if I have
time. So stay tune!
